Implementation of the project "Strength is in you - support for the mental health of young people" has begun
The project "Strength is in you - support for the mental health of young people" received the approval and financial support of the Ministry of Tourism and Youth of the Republic of Serbia. This important project aims to respond to the growing challenge of impaired mental health among young people in Serbia, through education, support and capacity building for prevention and early intervention. The project will include a social media campaign, providing individual psychological counseling and organizing educational workshops to encourage young people to talk openly about their mental health. The establishment of a free psychological counseling center will provide easier access to experts and anonymous support, and workshops will provide practical skills for dealing with stress and emotional challenges. The goal is to contribute to the reduction of stigma around mental health through the project and to encourage young people to turn to experts for support. In addition, the project is aimed at strengthening the capacity for prevention and early intervention in the community, which all contribute to improving the quality of life of young people through practical workshops and counseling. The "Strength is in you" project not only provides direct support to young people, but also encourages the building of a culture of mental health care in our community. We invite all young people to get involved and take advantage of the opportunities this project offers them, as well as to follow our activities on social networks and the website. The project will last from July 1 to September 30, 2025.
